DEGIRO
A portfolio tracker for your DEGIRO account
DEGIRO tells you what your positions are worth. It is much quieter about what you actually earned — dividends, fees and currency each land somewhere else. Export the account statement you already have and Miw rebuilds the whole picture from it.
Import your statementNo account needed. The file is read in your browser and stays there.
What you get
- Your real returnTime-weighted, counting dividends, fees and currency moves — not the number on the broker’s front page.
- Dividends, paid and forecastWhat you were paid, what was withheld and in which country, and what the next twelve months look like at today’s rates.
- A tax report already worked outRealized gains by year, FIFO-matched, with dividends and withholding by country. Portugal also gets Anexo G and Anexo J line items.
- Several brokers, one portfolioImport DEGIRO, XTB and Trading 212 together and they merge — the same share held in two places becomes one position.
How to export your DEGIRO statement
- 1Log in to DEGIROOpen the web trader in your browser — the export lives there, not in the mobile app.
- 2Open Activity → Account statementFrom the Inbox / Activity menu, choose “Account statement” (Rekeningoverzicht / Conta).
- 3Set the full date rangeFrom your account opening date to today, so every trade, dividend and fee is included.
- 4Export as CSVUse the export icon and pick CSV — not PDF. It downloads as Account.csv.
- 5Drop it hereUpload that file. Re-import whenever you like — new activity merges with what’s saved.
Questions
- Which DEGIRO file do I need?
- The Account statement (Conta / Rekeningoverzicht) exported as CSV, covering everything since you opened the account. Not the Transactions export and not a PDF: the account statement is the one that carries dividends, fees and currency conversions as well as trades.
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is read in your browser and stays in that browser’s storage. There is no account to create and no server holding your positions. The only outbound requests ask for share prices by ticker, and never say whose portfolio is asking.
- Can I import more than once?
- Yes — re-import whenever you like and new activity merges with what is saved. This matters more than it sounds: DEGIRO exports only reach back so far, so after a few years the oldest transactions exist only in your own copy.
The Portuguese tax report
If you are taxed in Portugal, the statement you just exported already holds everything the IRS annexes need. Miw arranges it into the lines each one asks for.
